Amy has been creating homes that are true to the people that live inside since she began designing in 2001. A favorite quote helped her establish her design philosophy..."Stick to the things you really love. An honest room is always up to date."
For the first seven years of her career, Amy worked as a Kitchen & Bath Designer. In 2008, she completed the Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) and Certified Bath Designer (CBD), both rigorous examinations offered through The National Kitchen and Bath Association.
In 2009 she became certified as a licensed interior designer through the National Council for Interior Designer Qualifications (NCIDQ). Amy has also been a member of the American Society of Interior Designers, The U.S.
Green Building Council, and the Northwest Society of Interior Designers.
Her passions include design education, environmentally friendly design, and keeping up with the newest products & materials in the industry. Anthology Design Co. offers a variety of services including sustainable design, which puts an emphasis not only on the health of the environment but also the occupants within the space.
Amy graduated from the International Academy of Design & Technology in Seattle, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design. She also holds an Associate’s degree in Architectural & Engineering Design from Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory, NC.
